The song will be premiered on Feb 7 at SuperBowl XLIV where The Who are playing at half time. The song will be released for download on iTunes shortly afterwards.

This is set to be released as another charity song in aid of the people suffering from the aftermath of the Haiti Earthquake. The Hope for Haiti album has topped the Itunes chart and is looking likely to top the album charts of downloads alone.

The album features a  large array of stars, including Madonna, Coldplay and Bruce Springsteen, while the two most popular songs have been Justin Timberlake’s cover of Hallelujula and Jay-Z, U2 and Rhianna’s song Stranded (Haiti Mon Amur). 100% of the money from album sales is going to help the cause

A television appeal featuring the album artists raised $61 Million over the weekend and that figure is sure to grow.

The 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti near the capital of Port-au-Prince on Tuesday, January 12th.

Former Guns ‘N’ Roses and current Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash is set to release his first proper solo album on the 5th of April.

In a bid to beat the current trend of declining CD sales in the UK the album is set to be released only in a Classic Rock Magazine ‘Fan Pack’. The CD will be available wherever the normal edition of Classic Rock is sold but the CD will accompany this special issue decocted to Slash’s life. It will retail at £14.99

The originally-titled ‘Slash’ album is set to feature a wide range of stars, including Ozzy Osbourne, Fergie, Dave Grohl, Meat loaf and many more.

This is his first proper solo album, after releasing two lesser known albums under the guise of Slash’s Snake Pit.

Currently Slash’s main band Velvet Revolver are on hiatus while looking for a replacement for previous frontman Scott Weiland.

So far Slash released a Japan only single, entitled Sahara, with Fergie singing the G’N'R classic Paradise City as the B-side.
