It’s Saturday night in Paddywhacks. On stage, Monologues guitarist Jack Briggs breaks into a solo, playing ‘Purple Haze’ behind his head. Everyone stops everything else. Around the bar some people smile and nod in appreciation, while others are wide eyed in disbelief, compelled to watch as he plays across the different riffs.
