Jeffries impresses on debut

Sunderland’s Tony Jeffries made a winning start to his professional boxing career with a first round stoppage of Belarusian Aliaksandr Vayavoda on Friday.
The fight, staged at Barnsley’s Metrodome, was a total miss match.
Jeffries, 23, had slimmed down from light heavy to super middleweight and looked in sublime condition compared to his shaky opponent. Read more
