Liam Gallagher’s New Band Starting To Shape Up
December 4, 2009 by Ryan Gibbins
Post Oasis, Liam Gallagher has revealed that he has a band together and they are making music. Speaking while promoting his clothing range, Pretty Green, the frontman said “I’m making my own tunes and all that, whether if it’s better then Oasis or not we’ll see wont we.”
Even though this is a new project for the frontman, it has an Oasis sounding line-up.
“It’s me, It’s Gem, and it’s Andy (Bell). We’ve got a new bass player and he’s mega. We’ve got the old drummer, Chris Sharrock. We’ve got the old keyboard player” (Jay Darlington), said Gallagher.
The demise and apparent bust up between Liam and Noel Gallagher was also put straight by the singer turned fashion designer, “I didn’t really speak to him that much anyway. All this thing about fighting all the time, he was doing his thing i was doing mine. We met on stage.”
But in true Liam style, the Manc had to have the last word. Asked if he had a message for Noel, he replied, “Good luck mate. See you in the next world. Dont be late.”
No name has been given toLiams new outfit as of yet. “We’ll see what happens when the records done. We’re concentrating on the music at the moment,” he said.
